Welcome to:
Summary of Boox IX
Things began rather gloomy in the start of the book... it was a dark time in the history of Tolkien Forums, when only the faithful frosty would return in its trying times, and thus the first reply truly belonged to her. Things went terribly slow for the first week or so... when suddenly raditzsoldier appeared, offering prophecies of doom and despair to the future of the forums. Bacon did not take this, and refused to accept that the forum would indeed die. Discussions turned to the horrendous figure of Bilbo, and his scary purposes, in which after the subject quickly twisted towards Gorbin's forum, and everyone's surprise at its recent activity. raditz became depressed, sad that his forums gained not as much activity as others. Soon, the subject changed towards user notes, and their hostile intent. I will have you all know that only one on these boards has severe user notes, and they were made in a time of extreme frustration towards spammers. Kittens became the next source of discussion, and I still find raditz's obession with them chilling and disturbing. It was shortly after this conversation that the most awesome of awesomest of movements, the Anti-Bacon Movement was formed. Tempers ran high at this point, and arguments flared, though in the end, everyone was kewl. For the rest of the book, random conversations and talk of the recent Survivor Game brings us to this new book... which will most likely last all of February...
If you haven't noticed, Bacon gave me the privilege of making the new GDI.
As I'm sure you know, we are having a Survivor competition, lasting from the last week of January through the end of February. This one book is the last source of enjoyment for those signed up. #16# Just kidding, of course. Somewhere, there is a thread in which you can find all the rules and stuff...nothing I have committed to memory.
Anyways, I am going to make the posting goal 777, which will hopefully give somebody good luck.
Have fun!!
If you can read this, you should know that if the above post is a little cheesy, don't worry, I'll hopefully get better.
