So I'm assuming the three of us don't have valentines, unless of course Bacon has a special someone I don't know about...

It's worse that she's taken by a good friend of mine.

Ouch. I've been chasing a girl for over 3 years now. I was this close. That must be the worst feeling in the world.

Well, it was, but I've gotten used to it since last May... besides they don't seem that close... except when I see random bookmarks that say "X loves X". It bugs me, but not too much... not anymore. It was alot harder in the beginning though... now I bear no ill feelings.

Trust me, unless the guy has an inflated-ego, he wouldn't mind talking to you. Then things could go from there.

Well... I dunno, just walk up to him and say 'Hello, I'm Frosty. Nice to meet you.' OR you could make sure that you are locker buddies next year... How do you get over a girl whose taken?

I remember back in Grade 7 when a mishap with a buddy of mine and I caused her to find out about how I liked her. It was Grade 8 on a cold Friday in November back in 2003 when she almost fell for me. We were at a friend's house for a small "party"(where we all just sat around and talked) and all the girls were whispering and looking at me, and even the other guys and me knew what it was about. They obviously didn't want to tell me, so I didn't push the matter. My male buddies confirmed my suspicions about what it was about. The real kicker came at the end of the evening. She told the person who's house we were at that she could "tell him at school". I was anxious that entire weekend, and I actually looked forward to going back to school on Monday. When it finally arrived, I never recieved any message. The next day? Nothing. And so it went. I never heard about the incident again.

But she's always around someone else...

You don't...I've tried...the one I was with now just broke up with the other guy a couple of weeks ago...but while they were together, I was jealous...

Phoenix, that sucks. If I would've known what it was about, I would have called her and asked her out...but I haven't managed to get in that position yet..[/color]

Ah, now see, in our town, things work a bit differently. No one calls people of the other gender to ask them out. The medium commonly used is school itself. If there was no answer from there, there was none at all.
To this day, I still wonder "why". Why did I never hear anything, why did I not pursue the matter.
Oh, and for the record, I've never told this to anyone.

Well, all else I can say is stop being nervous and just go to talk to him. I'm sure he's not going to go, "OMG FROSTY GO AWAY"! That's how it is in my school also, Phoenix. I'm watching 'the clip' again. edit - good night frosty
