My favorite scene in the movies is a tie between three, all in FOTR:
The Bridge of Khazad-dum/The Departure of Boromir/The Road Goes Ever On
Two are death scenes, and one is a depressing scene. Typical of me.
Anyways, I just love the ending of FOTR. It leaves you depressed, but with a sense of hope. It's short and sweet.
I like the Bridge of Khazad-dum, mostly because of the music and Gandalf's 'Fly, you fools!'
The Fellowship Theme blaring is awesome.
Boromir's last lines are why I love this scene:
I would have followed you, my brother... my captain... my King!

I like the scenes in the Shire (FotR and RotK), because they are almost unchanged from their original. And, they're really well made, and funny (FotR). Also, the Grey Havens- scene was amazing and really really made me cry. (I saw all of the movies at their first viewing, in costume. What an amazing experience!)

Yes, the Grey Havens was one of the highlights of ROTK. Very sad.
The Shire scenes are in my favorites as well. A very contrasting mood with the rest of the movie.
I also love the Party scene in FOTR. Just like the book, except not as light-hearted.

Yes, that's included in my Shire scenes. I still laugh at Merry and Pip when they get caught by Gandalf. *giggle* Very funny. And Frodo's chicken dance kinda thing is so ridiculous I can't help myself, I really swim in laugh tears.

My favorite scenes are the party ( ;D ), Boromir and Aragorn with the whole shards of narsil thing, the Council of Elrond, and the coronation

They're not my favourite, but I really liker the deleted scenes with Boromir and Faramir. It really makes Boromir look like the nice guy he is.

I have only seen the first two but my favorite scene so far is the part where Gandalf comes back as Gandalf the White. He is like: 'Fear me! I am the head of the Istari now!' Well not like that but pretty close (I would have put the head potato but that would be inappropriate)

I like Retreat to the Hornburg alot, as well as Forth Eorlingas. Where is the Horse and the Rider is another...basically any Helm's Deep scenes are ultra-coolness.

I like the one where they are in the armory. "Then I shall die as one of them!"
