What the hell is going on with these gas prices?
Why are they rising and what is going to be done about them?
1.00 to 3.00 in mere days?
Apparently, from what I've heard, it's because the oil places down in the Gulf were down because of Katrina and will be up again soon, which means gas'll go back down.
But still...
Discuss.

I think this is our signal to use a more abundant and less costly way to fuel our cars.

It's also the war. Iraq is where most of the oil on earth is.
But gas has gone down significantly this past week.
The highest it ever got here was $3.09. Now it is $2. 38 at Wal-Mart.

It was 3.50 in Bama.
You know, if everyone in the country would just stop buying gas for one day, it would probably go down even quicker. It's something I heard anyways.

Do you know how much money they'd lose if noone in the U.S. bought gas on a certain date?

I don't know anything about it. I only heard someone talking about it at school. But, no, please enlighten me.

Yes. If everyone in the U.S. didn't buy gas tomorrow, the National Gas/Oil Companies would be out of millions.

So why would we do that, if we'd kill our own stock market!

The only way out is switching from gasoline to something else. If the gas companies charges us so much, they dont care as long as we still buy it.

I'd make a car that runs on air.
