I think I have already done this, but I guess I can do a redo.
Okay, in the trilogy, we learn that there are five istari. But, in the books, we only learn of 3. Rhadaghast the Brown, Gandalf the Grey/White, and Saruman the White.
What I am going at, is, why aren't the other two Istari mentioned. And also, if they were mentioned, what do you think their importance would have been?

They are mentioned, actually, those two are called the Blue Wizards, and their misson was to go East and try to keep the peace there, especially among the Haradhrim and those people. They got corrupted by Sauron (or, rather, that is common belief. I don't know if Tolkien ever said that they actually were). Their names are not known, and they aren't really relevant for the LotR storyline anyway.
