What's your least favorite chapter in all of LOTR?
Mine is 'Many Partings' in ROTK. Actually many of those chapters in Book 2 ROTK, though sweet, are quite pointless. The only ones that serve real purpose are the first five and the Grey Havens.
Though I suppose he had to explain the journey back in suffiecient detail, I suppose.

Hmm...it would have to be either A or B: A) The main chapter with Tom Bombadil B) Some of the pointless chapters in book two of ROTK, as stated before

Yes, that chapter was a bit irritating. That whole episode, as much as I love it, really slows down the entire plot altogether...
