What do you think is the single most emotional line in all the movies?
Frodo/Sam's speech at Mount Doom is mine.
Elijah did really well here, as did Sean.

Some of Theoden's lines at Helm's Deep.

You mean the poem he recites from the book before the battle?

Not just that, but he says some really good lines all over the pre-Helm's Deep.
I love that line when he says, "We are alone."

Or his entire speech to Aragorn about aloneness. I like his line 'So it begins'.

These are also great lines. Gandalf's is particularly good. I can mimic it.

"I can't carry it for you, but I can carry you!" Tearjerker.... "I would have followed you my brother... my captain... my king." In fact, that whole Boromir's death scene is great.

Oh, I can't believe I didn't think of Boromir's death! That's the most emotional scene in FOTR. FOTR's ending was all great. Frodo's departure was 'emotional' as well.

The ROTK ending is very sad. I wish Frodo had stayed.

Another great one is 'Do not hold back your tears, for they are not all evil.' -Gandalf, ROTK (something to that effect)

That line would've been bad if they played it how it originally was supposed to be...

Not so much a line, but when Aragorn was singing by the camp, and frodo ask who he is singing about, I always loved that scene.

That's a great scene added. A shame it was taken out.

I think that the scenes between Arwen And Elrond are really sad but good. I always cry at the point where they say "A im u'erin veleth lin?" "Gerith veleth nin, Ada" #17# or "Some things are certain. If I leave him now I will regret it forever" or "Your hands are cold. The life of the Eldar is leaving you!" "Ada, this was my choice. Whether by your will or no, there is no ship now that can bear me hence" #17#
