~ Translation For Those Who Wish To See This Clearer
01: No cussin. I'll accept the words 'damn' or 'hell' but any others are bannable offenses. One warning will be given, and if you continue, you will be banned.
02: Use the avatars in the directory please. If you refuse, I'll simply edit it and perhaps do a bit of a ban.
03: Arguing is not allowed unless it is held in fashionable debate. Keep it in PMs or take it off this forum.
04: Obviously, trolling is not allowed. Automatic bannable offense with no warning.
05: Keep in mind that any post you make that says something about somebody else can affect them in more ways than you may think. Think before you post.
06:This is another bannable offense. This forum was made for discussion of Tolkien, not of the admins or moderators who may preside. One warning will be given and then a ban.
07: This rule means no spamming. One of the many reasons this forum has moved is because of the amount of spam in the other one. Keep all topics clean, as in readable, post things relevant to a conversation at hand, and everyone will be alright.
08: I'm not a fan of porn of any kind. Keep it out of this forum. Automatic ban.
09: All discussions that may be considered debatable such as gay rights, abortion, the War in Iraq, etc. are made to go in one particular forum in the Village of Hobbiton. Keep it there.
10: Though this is your choice, I am asking you that if you join, you remain committed to posting on these forums. I'm not asking for a high post count, just asking that you please be active, as non-active users are no fun at all.

One unmentioned rule:
I do not like txt talk. If you have something to say, just say it. Instead of 'LOL' just say 'That's funny!' or WTH?! just say 'What in the hell?' I don't care how long it takes you, just get it done good and proper. Please watch your spelling and grammar. It's hard for anyone to take you seriously if u tpe lke tis.
All of these rules will be enforced strictly. If you can manage to obey them, you'll do fine here.
