Hey, DDL, I've been meaning to ask you this for some time now... (This isn't about forums though, it's a common web site issue). I'm making this web site layout where I have one rather big, non- tileable bg. The thing is, I don't really want big blank areas around it in bigger screen solutions, either. So - what I've been thinking about is that if I make the bg in different sizes (the commonest screen solutions), is there a way to use a code to determine what the screen resolution of the person viewing the page is and then to insert the fitting background image? (I'm using CSS for positioning stuff)

Hopefully this will work. If you need help modifying it for your purposes, let me know.

No problem. Although it is a little outdated, I'd probably use the background attribute of the <body> tag..much easier than editing it for the style or link tag.
