Yogurt's Will
I have come to the conclusion that I can no longer help this forum succeed, and prosper. I'm sorry for being rude and obnoxious towards Bacon, and especially you Minyaliel, but I just can't do it. I cannot go on, I cannot go on for more Tolkien Forum re-openings. I can do nothing for this forum. I've had a good run, and I leave you now.. May God have mercy on my soul.
Remember me in good memories, and in happier times. This thread is dedicated to Yogurt's fans and admirers, may they be at peace. Excuse me, if I am wrong at any point, about the time-line, or any other thing, during this little trip into the past. Please bear with me.
To Jason, I know we had a rocky start on IGN, I'm sure you were disgusted with me, and so were half of the members active on that forum. No detail is needed on that particular topic... We then proceeded to the GEF, where you exceed my expectations. You were the first recruit of mine, and perhaps the best. Congratulations buddy.
To Raditz, You were my first padawan on the GEF, and a thumpin' good 'un, I wager. Does 'K'Yeah.!' Ring a bell? I remember all your arguments with Jason, how you two never got along was my largest wonder. Bacon and I had a good laugh, watching you two... I never liked anime, but you are a wonderful fan of it. You are the biggest spammer I've ever met, but perhaps the best. Goodbye, Raditz.
To Minyaliel, I know this is a short one, but I don't have much to say to you, as I haven't known you long at all. I apologize for everything I have done to you. The mean comments, everything. I hope you continue, in my old position, doing what you think is best. I hope you do well, I really do. Goodbye.
And finally, to Bacon. Where to begin.. where to begin? We met.. I believe on the first GEF site.. perhaps on the thread in SW Community on the JC. We've had our ups, and our downs. I started to get to know you best on 'Land of the Monkeys'. I had joined the Sith, and you were testing me. I hate riddles because of you, you sly old dog. Ms. Nezbit ring a bell? We proceeded to WOTS, the best thing that has ever happened, in all of the Proboard sites, in my opinion. Alas, it didn't take off, as I thought it would... It imploded from all of the codes you were using. Remember your whole, 'Help! I banned myself!' incident? You had to give Jason your password to bail you out. And yes, I finally have found out your name. Yes, that was me that went into your account, putting the words, 'AHACKERWASHERE' for your site name. Sorry about that.... Continuing on, I was made Co-Admin on WOTS, best thing to ever happen to me. There I created a story, in the form of fan-fiction. About Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon. It went down with the WOTS site. Not all is fair in love and war, eh? Moving on... Out of WOTS, Tolkien Forums was created, if I'm not mistaken. That continued, until spamming closed it down. We continued on, to this Tolkien Forums, a new one, a better one. The two spammers joined us again, no offense to them. You know who you are. Jason, Raditz. Several attempts at an RPG came out of this site, none making even the slightest dent in the world J.R.R.Tolkien himself had invisioned. Then again, I don't think anything could, could it? That site was moved to Invision Free, the worst decision Bacon had made in my many months of knowing him. But not all entirely his fault. It resulted in loss of activity, and one of our prominent members, Jason. We moved back to Tolkien Forums, if only for a bit. I was demoted, due to inactivity, and a more reliable person was put in charge. I have no hard feelings towards you, Bacon, for this decision, I now understand why you did what you did. I am sorry for the way I have acted in these waning hours, and I hope you forgive me. Continuing on, that Tolkien Forums was shut down, due to inactivity, I believe. You made a few sites, a few being, 'Bacon Studios,' 'The Golden Eagles, 2.0', 'Titanic', and 'WOTS, 2.0', all very excellent attempts, and I hated to see them go. Oh well.. I recieved an e-mail, telling me that Tolkien Forums would be up, once again, this Christmas Season. I was of course, thrilled. I returned, not knowing how hard the demotion from co-admin would affect me. I suppose it pained me to see someone else in the position I desired, and had held for so long. It a very different experience, being just a plain old member. I was rude, towards you and Minyaliel, in every thread I could, hoping to get at you both, hoping to hurt you, and make you feel bad. I was wrong. I apologize, and you've made everything worthwhile, Bacon. Thank you, for everything. We had our good times, and we had our bad. We had some very funny conversations on the way. Thanks for it all. I'm going to miss you buddy.
Best wishes, Yogurt.
Were you not metioned above, please, do not hesitate to leave comments.. I'm sure Yog would be pleased if you did. These are to who Yogurt knew best, not who he favored the most, or who bribed him to put him on here. Thank you.
I hope to see you all, very much in the future. I am not deleting myself, in case I get bored later on, but I am leaving you. Thank you for making my time here worthwhile, and goodbye, too you all. I think Bacon should have the honors of first post.
I regret to announce that this is the end. I am going now. Goodbye.
