Asteroid
The skies of Coruscant are ablaze with activity. It is a time of celebration and glory, for after the demise of the Empire, a new order has returned the very foundations of the Galactic Republic.
And it is during these times that astronomers make an odd and perhaps deadly assumption. A huge asteroid belt circling far and wide around the Coruscant System is breaking apart for some reason, and though it appears that nothing is happening, a chain of odd exploits could lead to the demise of the capital.
Chancellor Leia Solo overlooks this sad exploit, as do the citizens of the Galactic Republic. It is nothing. The great asteroid belt has broken up thousands of times throughout the millennium, and that has not stopped Coruscant from growing to the metropolis that it is today, but will something change this time? Only time will tell…

Once more, welcome to the Barrow Downs! In this thread, you fill out a small form for your game, detailing several aspects of it. Once approved, you can begin your game. This idea comes from the fantastic Admin's Retreat Team, and I think it would work great here as well. SheetTitle: This is the title of your game.Difficulty: Between I and III, the difficulty of your game will be put here.
I - Easy- For beginners, a simple story, little to no character development, and a small sense of epicness. II - Advanced- For more advanced posters, a strong story, some character development, detailed posting. III - Deep- Everything is detailed and deep, from character sheets, to settings, to the plot and story, and character development.Genre: The genre of your game, such as romance, action, comedy, etc.Description: Please post a strong and descriptive post of what your game is about.

Hello fellow role-players and welcome to the Barrow Downs, the official role-playing forum of the Green Dragon Forums. As always, there are a few rules to follow, and they especially apply here. Rules:- Autohitting and god-moding are not allowed. Your character is not invincible, nor is he indestructible. Control only you and yourself. Auto-hitting is basically when you mold the actions of someone else. Instead of saying, Bacon killed Agent., you would say, Bacon attempted to kill Agent. It is up to the other to see if they can get out of it.
- All things in character stay in character and all things out of character stay out of character. Don't get mad at someone because they're beating you in the game, and don't vent your anger into the game.
- Do not edit your post after it has been replied to. This is to avoid confusion in the game.
- Think realisticly. If there's five thousand Oliphaunt bolting towards you, don't try and think you've escaped. Know when your character's doom is upon you and don't try and cheat to stay in the game.
- Do not disrespect anyone OOC.
- If you wish to form your own role-playing game, simply fill out the sheet in the main forum and have it approved. Then the fun can begin!
- You are not allowed to kill another character unless it's been cleared by that character's creator.
- Follow all admins and moderators. They have the final say.
- Do not stall the story with meaningless side stories. Keep the RPG going towards the goal and resolution.
- Don't join a level two or level three RPG if you aren't prepared to really take time and think through your posts. If you just want a simple RPG, take a level one.
We hope you enjoy the new and improved role-playing forum.

Gandalf: No, but I had to badger you. I wanted the truth. It was important. Magic rings are well magical; and they are rare and curious. I was professionally interested in your ring, you may say; and I still am. I should like to know where it is, if you go wandering again. Also I think you have had it quite long enough. You won't need it anymore, Bilbo, unless I am quite mistaken.

I'm about ready to treat the phrase ooc like I did ''ya h''. Gandalf: I think, Bilbo, I should leave it behind. Don't you want to?

Well, you really don't need it. Gandalf: I hope he will. But nobody will read the book, however it ends.

Bleh. What's the ooc thing for? There's no in character! Gandalf: No, it does not seem right. No, after all I believe your plan is probably the best.

Bilbo: Yes, I am. I feel I need a holiday, a very long holiday, as I have told you before. Probably a permanent holiday: I don't expect I shall return. In fact, I don't mean to, and I have made all arrangements.

Rory Brandybuck: There's something fishy in this, my dear! I believe that mad Baggins is off again. Silly old fool. But why worry? He hasn't taken the vittles with him.

Sandyman: Ah, but he has likely enough been adding to what he brought at first. He's often away from home. And look at the outlandish folk that visit him: dwarves coming at night, and that old conjuror, Gandalf, and all. You can say what you like, Gaffer, but Bag End's a queer place, and its folk are queerer.
