I think the Helm's Deep Set and Minas Tirith as well as Isengard were very well done. So detailed for a model (and CGI), quite unbelievable.

As I said, it's not always best to resort to such implications. Nowhere did I say what she did was bad, just a proposition that she might have been doing what she did out of jealousy.

Where did I say it was bad? Inferring is not always the best thing. What say you of the topic?

Well, an obvious example here would be Saruman's envy for the Ring.
Eowyn would be another. Her 'jealousy' of the men riding to battle is what pushed her into doing it herself.

Don't feel bad. I haven't gotten past that Rohan bridge in over a year.

I don't see why. You can play as Aragorn in every other LOTR video game. Wouldn't be much different in this one.

When I played it, I don't think I got past that stupid bridge. Actually, I think that's when I quit.

I love this painting! Many artists depict the bridge and the Balrog horribly, but John Howe always hits it on the nail. The colors are vibrant and it even fits the mood.

Since this is a Tolkien Art forum, there is only one thread for funny/Non-Tolkien art/images, which is located like right below here.

It looks like heaven with gates or something.
I have an odd question about the pic though.
Is the bit with the bridge supposed to be the big piece of land stretching from the city or do you think it's actually the back of the city? It's hard to tell...

I think this is by Alan Lee... Anyways, this is a unique presentation of Pelennor Fields, a bit unlike how I would think. I just like how everyone's on top and scewing everybody else. A nice piece of art.

I love the Fellowship Theme. It's the most adventorous out of all the movies, and it's just awesome and at it's best in FOTR.

It is hard to imagine the title 'Fellowship of the Ring' with Frodo at the tree, rather than in Bilbo's study.
I have not seen the theatrical cuts in years.

That was the most disappointing thing in the entire trilogy was the lack of closure to Saruman's story.
I liked the EE better just because of that.

It definately adds a lot of character to the settings, people and events.
The theatrical versions run alot more like a Hollywood movie, but the EE seem to have their own genre...

Which edition do you prefer?
One mega reason I prefer the EE is because it actually has a closure to Saruman's arc. I was so pissed that it was cut. #49#
